Download control is a great tool for securing your documents, enabling you to prevent unauthorized file distribution, even when sharing your content publicly. This feature restricts visitors’ view environment to the FeatPaper viewer, enhancing the effectiveness of the Visitor Tracking feature.

By default, the Download control is ON. If you want to allow visitors to down your document, follow these steps.

Click on the <code>Document Setting</code> button

Change the <code>Download</code> setting to OFF

Click <code>Save</code> to confirm

1. Navigate to the Document Dashboard
2. Click on the <code>Document Setting</code> button

3. Change the <code>Download</code> setting to OFF

4. Click <code>Save</code> to confirm

Once turned off, visitors will be able to download the original PDF file in the viewer by using the button on the bottom.

Please note that the change only applies to this specific document.
